Senioritis usually occurs to seniors who have already completed their college applications and especially to those who have already been accepted to college. Symptoms include laziness, lack of initiative, repeated tardiness and absences, and a generally dismissive attitude. In order to prevent or cure senioritis I suggest that you sit down and talk to someone you trust and know won’t use what you told them to judge you. Ask for suggestions. Create a planner for you to stay organized. I prefer a week-to-week planner so that you know exactly what to do everyday. If something was to come up all you have to do is just look at your planner and try to fit it in for that day. This helps a lot especially for college students. For example, knowing when you have papers due is something college students will have to keep track of. Also if you have time on your planner where you don’t have anything to do I prefer getting some rest. Make sure in your planner you have taken time out for your self to study and do homework. These useful tips help seniors that have been diagnosed with senioritis overcome this disease. These tips are actually helping me overcome this. It’s making me become more organized and less tired.
